Privacy

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and makes no requests to any third party. That is why there is no cookie banner: there is nothing to ask you to consent to.

Open your browser's network tab and reload. Every request goes to this domain, and there is no JavaScript on any page, which is why the site publishes a script-src 'none' content security policy.

What this site does not do

  • No cookies. Not even the strictly necessary kind.
  • No analytics, no pixels, no beacons, no fingerprinting.
  • No third-party fonts, scripts, embeds, videos or maps.
  • No contact form, no chat widget, no A/B testing.
  • No advertising, and nothing is sold or shared with anyone.

What is unavoidably processed

Server logs

The site is hosted by Netlify, who act as processor. Their server records requests: IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent and referrer. That is used to serve the page and to defend against abuse. I don't build a profile from it, and I don't combine it with anything else. Legal basis: legitimate interest in delivering and protecting the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Email you send me

If you email me, I have your email address and whatever you wrote. It is stored at Proton in Switzerland. I keep correspondence as long as it is useful for the working relationship, or as long as Dutch tax and administrative law requires for anything commercial. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering a contract, or the contract itself (Art. 6(1)(b)), and legal obligation for records that have to be kept (Art. 6(1)(c)).

Your rights

Under the AVG/GDPR you can ask for access to the personal data I hold about you, correction, erasure, restriction of processing, or a copy in portable form, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Mail helloREMOVE@handsonzero.com and you'll get an answer within a month.

If you're not satisfied with how I handle that, you can complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
